20 Questions

20 questions or 20 answers is just fun to play! To play you need 2-20 players. One player thinks of a person, place, animal, or thing.  The other players ask yes or no questions. Keep guessing until you either use up all your questions or guess what it is.  Here’s an example:

Answer: Unicorn

1.     Is it an animal?                              Yes
2.    Is it a small animal?                      No
3.    Is it an herbivore?                         Yes
4.    Can you find it in the zoo?         No
5.    Does it live in the jungle?            No
6.    Have we seen it before?                  No
7.    Does it live in the water?             No
8.    Does it live in the desert?             No
9.    Is it real?                                         No
10. Is it a dragon?                               No
11.   Does it fly?                                     Yes
12.  Is it a phoenix?                               No
13.  Is it a manticor?                            No
14.  Is it a unicorn?                              YES!

The person who guessed the right animal won so they get to think of the next one.

Mom's Note: For a Party Game twist, fill a bag up with unusual props.  The person has to choose one of those objects as the thing.  All the people asking have to use a silly voice or Hop on one leg while talking.  When someone guesses what it is, they win the prop or they have to do something silly with the prop.

Electricity

Electricity is a game for 5 or more people. Choose 1 person to be “it.” All the other players can sit or stand in a circle holding hands.  Then the person who is “it” stands in the middle of the circle and shuts his/her eyes. One player then says “I`m turning the lights on.” Then “It” opens his/her eyes. One person starts the current by squeezing the player’s hand next to him.  If the person who is “it” spies someone’s hand being squeezed, the player who just squeezed that player’s hand becomes “it.”  Continue this until you want to stop.  Goodbye!

Mom’s note: If you want to play this game with a big group of people, split up into two teams.  Have the person who is “it” become the judge instead.  Each team makes a straight line holding hands.  The judge holds hands with each team at the end of the line.  When the judge says, “I’m turning the lights on,” both teams start the current down the line.  Whoever gets to the judge first, wins.

Duck, Duck....Moose

Tots are sure to enjoy this game .It`s similar to “Duck, Duck, Goose” only change up a little! Instead of saying “Goose,” you say “Moose.”  Instead of running, you gallop.  Here are some other examples:

*Scooby, Scooby, Doo- Instead of running normal, run on all fours.

*Princess, Princess, Frog- Instead of running, jump like a frog.

*Monster, Monster, Boo- While running, use your monster growl!

*Police, Police, Fireman- While running you can pretend to put out fires or make a siren noise.

There are endless possibilities.  What are some of your ideas?

Frogs and Rogs

Hi!I’m going to  to tell you a poem of  mine today.

Frogs and Rogs
If frogs are frogs
Then rogs are rogs
Then if ships are ships
Then hips are hips
Then if water is water
Then ater is ater
So this is his
Frogs are frogs
And rogs are rogs.

I hope you enjoyed my poem. Bye!

My Welcome Post

I  am in 3rd grade. Yes, you might think I am a little young to make a blog but I do not think so. Here are a few things about me...I really like books, horses, owls, cute dogs, and, of course, Christmas day. I started this blog because...I  think it might be fun, well, I want to be like my mom (she has a blog of her own) I also want to share my talent of party planning and post about good books. That's all I want to say for now.
Happy New Year!
My New Year's Owl

Note: My Mom does edit everything and makes sure it is all okay so don't worry!
