THE SNOWMAN

I SAW A SNOWMAN WALKING DOWN THE ROAD.
I SAID ," A SNOWMAN? WALKING?"
I THOUGHT I WAS DREAMING
SO I TOOK A NAP,
AND FAST ASLEEP WAS I WHEN IT SNOWED.
I DREAMED  OF THE  SNOWMAN,  I SAW IT WALKING DOWN THE  ROAD,
AND I FIGURED THE SNOWMAN  WAS  FAKE.
BUT I SAW IT AGAIN ( WHEN I WAS AWAKE) SHIVERING IN THE SNOW,
AND GAVE IT MY SCARF.
AND NOW I LOOK BACK SAYING,
"I HOPE HE`S HAPPY!"
AND I NEVER SAW THE SNOW MAN AGAIN.
THE END.

BIRDS

BIRDS

WHY DO BIDS SING,
IN THE TREE-TOPS?
WHY DO BIRDS FLY,
FROM TREE TO TREE,
ABOVE THE CLOUDS?
TO SEEK OUT THEIR DESTINY,
THAT`S WHY.

New Poem

MAZES & RACES

MAZES CAN BE DAZES
WHILE RACES CAN BE ACES.
BUT WHEN I TRY TO PUT THEM TOGETHER ,
I GET MAZES WITH RACES,
OR DAZES WITH ACES.
SOMETIMES RACES WITH DAZES,
OR MAZES WITH  ACES.
SOME RHYME OTHERS DON`T,
NOBODY CAN FIND AN ANTIDOTE .
NOT I, NOT YOU.

Lion from Mars

I once met a lion from Mars,
Everyday he makes a loud rarr.
But whenever he does,
It makes a loud buzz.
That handsome lion from Mars.

Ultimate Dodge Ball Tag

What you will need:

  • Balls that won't hurt if you when you throw it (2/person)
  • 4 or more players

How to Play:

The goal of the game is to get as many people down as you can without getting tagged yourself.  Everyone gets 2 balls to start.  Have time limit so everyone can start over.  You might ask, "Why do you need the balls?"  SO you can block or throw them at someone.  If you throw a ball and it hits someone they have to sit down.  If it hits them on the head, the person who threw has to sit down.  If two people tag each other they have to do Rock, Paper, Scissor.  The loser must sit down.  If the person who tagged you sat down, you can stand up.  Stop when the time runs out and start over.  No real winners or losers.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentines there,
Valentines here
Valentines in the air
Valentines on the ground
When I find one,
I shout for joy!
Valentines everywhere
I can't find spaghetti
Only Valentines
No more rollercoasters
Only Valentines
No more cars,
No more trucks
No more toys
Just more Valentines.
I can find a boy
With a Valentine on his shirt
And girls with Valentines in their hair
I guess I can't control it
So here's a Valentine too.

Should or Could

Should I or could I climb a Mountain?
Should I or could I run a mile?
Should I or could I read 50 books?
Yes, I should.  Yes, I could.
Should I or would I drive a car?
Should I or would I have a pet?
Should I or would I make a book?
Yes, Yes, Maybe.
Should I, could I, or would I dance?
Should I, could I, or would I be nice?
Should I, could I, or would I jump on you?
Yes, Yes, No.

Poem

Do, Does, and Due
Should I say Do or Does?
Should you say Due, Do, or Does?
Should a tiger say Do, Does, or Due?
Should a boat say Does, Due, or Do?
Then I guess not a tiger nor a boat,
But only you and I

Poem

Purposes
If patterns have a purpose
Then books do too.
Then if paper has a purpose,
Pencils do too.
Then if I have purpose,
You do too.
Then if you and I have a purpose,
Everything and everyone does too.

Bunny from Spain
I once met a bunny from Spain,
Everyday she has a bad pain,
But whenever she has one,
She says, "This is no fun;"
That cute bunny from Spain.

Man From the Moon
I once met a man from the moon,
Everywhere he eats with a spoon,
But whenever he does,
He says, "This is just fun;"
That weird man from the moon.

Super Mouse

Super Mouse is game for 10 or more people. You will also need 3 balls for the "cats."

How to Play:

Pick 3 people to be the cats.  Everyone else is a mouse.  The cats close their eyes while you select 3 Super Mice.  Super Mice have the ability to help the mice that are down and try to stay a secret from the cat.  The cats goals are to guess all the Super Mice.  They do this by tagging other mice and watching.  When a mouse gets tagged they have to sit down.  Only Super Mice can tag them again and get them back in the game.  When a Super Mouse gets tagged, s/he has to count to 10 before getting up again.  Super Mice have to be careful though so the Cats don't know its them.  They might wait longer or until more mice are near before getting back up.  After a set time everyone stops and the cats have to guess who the Super Mice are.  Each cat gets one guess.  If the cats get 2 out of 3 mice, they win.  If not, the mice win.

20 Questions

20 questions or 20 answers is just fun to play! To play you need 2-20 players. One player thinks of a person, place, animal, or thing.  The other players ask yes or no questions. Keep guessing until you either use up all your questions or guess what it is.  Here’s an example:

Answer: Unicorn

1.     Is it an animal?                              Yes
2.    Is it a small animal?                      No
3.    Is it an herbivore?                         Yes
4.    Can you find it in the zoo?         No
5.    Does it live in the jungle?            No
6.    Have we seen it before?                  No
7.    Does it live in the water?             No
8.    Does it live in the desert?             No
9.    Is it real?                                         No
10. Is it a dragon?                               No
11.   Does it fly?                                     Yes
12.  Is it a phoenix?                               No
13.  Is it a manticor?                            No
14.  Is it a unicorn?                              YES!

The person who guessed the right animal won so they get to think of the next one.

Mom's Note: For a Party Game twist, fill a bag up with unusual props.  The person has to choose one of those objects as the thing.  All the people asking have to use a silly voice or Hop on one leg while talking.  When someone guesses what it is, they win the prop or they have to do something silly with the prop.

Electricity

Electricity is a game for 5 or more people. Choose 1 person to be “it.” All the other players can sit or stand in a circle holding hands.  Then the person who is “it” stands in the middle of the circle and shuts his/her eyes. One player then says “I`m turning the lights on.” Then “It” opens his/her eyes. One person starts the current by squeezing the player’s hand next to him.  If the person who is “it” spies someone’s hand being squeezed, the player who just squeezed that player’s hand becomes “it.”  Continue this until you want to stop.  Goodbye!

Mom’s note: If you want to play this game with a big group of people, split up into two teams.  Have the person who is “it” become the judge instead.  Each team makes a straight line holding hands.  The judge holds hands with each team at the end of the line.  When the judge says, “I’m turning the lights on,” both teams start the current down the line.  Whoever gets to the judge first, wins.

Duck, Duck....Moose

Tots are sure to enjoy this game .It`s similar to “Duck, Duck, Goose” only change up a little! Instead of saying “Goose,” you say “Moose.”  Instead of running, you gallop.  Here are some other examples:

*Scooby, Scooby, Doo- Instead of running normal, run on all fours.

*Princess, Princess, Frog- Instead of running, jump like a frog.

*Monster, Monster, Boo- While running, use your monster growl!

*Police, Police, Fireman- While running you can pretend to put out fires or make a siren noise.

There are endless possibilities.  What are some of your ideas?

Frogs and Rogs

Hi!I’m going to  to tell you a poem of  mine today.

Frogs and Rogs
If frogs are frogs
Then rogs are rogs
Then if ships are ships
Then hips are hips
Then if water is water
Then ater is ater
So this is his
Frogs are frogs
And rogs are rogs.

I hope you enjoyed my poem. Bye!

My Welcome Post

I  am in 3rd grade. Yes, you might think I am a little young to make a blog but I do not think so. Here are a few things about me...I really like books, horses, owls, cute dogs, and, of course, Christmas day. I started this blog because...I  think it might be fun, well, I want to be like my mom (she has a blog of her own) I also want to share my talent of party planning and post about good books. That's all I want to say for now.
Happy New Year!
My New Year's Owl

Note: My Mom does edit everything and makes sure it is all okay so don't worry!
